With 20+ years of experience in public education, Sarah is a former special education teacher turned district administrator, dedicated to transforming literacy instruction in her district through the Science of Reading.

She believes every student deserves a teacher equipped with the skills and knowledge to teach them how to read—a mission she’s turning into reality every day.

Sarah is also a co-creator of the Science of Reading micro-credential at SUNY New Paltz and a proud fellow at their Center of Excellence, where she continues to advocate for evidence-based reading instruction.

Sarah started her blog Sundays with Sarah: Literacy, Leadership, and Lessons from the Field, to share practical advice and her passion for teaching and learning.

Ethane is a colorless, odorless, flammable gaseous hydrocarbon with the chemical formula C2H6. It is the second simplest alkane after methane and is a crucial component of natural gas, typically constituting between 1% and 6% of its volume. While it can also be found dissolved in petroleum, the vast majority of industrially utilized ethane is extracted from natural gas streams. Its relatively simple molecular structure, containing a single carbon-carbon bond, makes it an ideal and highly sought-after feedstock for the production of more complex chemicals.
